Job Title: Onboarding Specialist
Location: Dublin, TX

Summary: Our Onboarding Specialist is responsible for conducting orientation sessions and providing comprehensive training to ensure new employees are well-versed in the company’s policies, safety procedures, and job-specific tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough orientation sessions for new hires, introducing them to the company’s policies, values, and expectations.
  • Develop training programs for each role within the manufacturing facilities.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new hires, focusing on operating machinery, safety protocols, and quality control.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new hires during the training process, addressing any questions, concerns or problems they may encounter.
  • Evaluate the progress of new employees and provide constructive feedback, guidance and additional support when needed.
  • Ensure all training materials and safety procedures are up-to-date and comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with industry guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with HR, management, and other departments.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Frequently required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
