Prime Metal Buildings & Components Appoints Jack Todd as President

Dublin, Texas – Prime Metal Buildings & Components announced the appointment of Jack Todd as President, effective January 6, 2026. The addition of Jack reflects Prime’s continued growth and its commitment to strengthening leadership as the company continues to scale.

Prime has experienced significant expansion in recent years, creating new opportunities and increased operational demands. Jack joins the executive team to enhance leadership capacity, support strategic direction, and help ensure execution across the organization.

“Prime is in a strong position, and this is about adding horsepower, not changing what already works,” said Austin Brown, CEO of Prime. “Jack brings the experience, mindset, and leadership approach that aligns with our pace and culture. His role will be to help us stay focused, structured, and intentional as we continue to grow.”

Jack brings more than eight years of experience in professional financial services, where he advised middle-market, family-owned businesses primarily in manufacturing and construction. His background includes evaluating financial performance, improving operational efficiency, aligning leadership teams, and supporting long-term strategic planning.

“Although my foundation is in finance, my career has given me exposure to every side of running a business,” said Jack. “The most consistent driver of success I’ve seen is people. When companies invest in their teams and create environments where people can grow, the results follow.”

Jack’s connection to Prime spans more than a decade, beginning as a customer and later evolving into a professional relationship from previous work. That firsthand experience gives him a unique perspective on Prime’s culture, values, and people.

“As a long-time Prime customer, I’ve had the opportunity to watch Prime grow from the outside. Prime later became a client of mine which gave me an inside look at the team, the operations, and the culture that drive its success. What stood out immediately was the consistency between Prime’s values and its people. Now, stepping into this role of President, I’m able to bring both perspectives together and contribute to that culture in a much deeper way.”

“Prime is a leader in the market because of trust, quality, and people,” Jack added. “My focus is on supporting the team, serving our customers, and helping position Prime for long-term success. I’m excited to help lead the next chapter of growth.”
