While Prime Metal Buildings & Components has relocated its retail operations to its new flagship store in Stephenville, the company’s Dublin facility will continue to play a vital role in Prime’s future growth.

Rather than closing the location, Prime is transforming the former retail facility into an expanded structural steel fabrication center to support the company’s growing demand for pre-engineered metal buildings across the country.

“The move to Stephenville gave us the opportunity to better serve our retail customers while also unlocking additional manufacturing capacity in Dublin,” said Austin Brown, CEO of Prime.

“Our roots are in Dublin and this investment allows us to continue growing here while strengthening our manufacturing capabilities.”

The Dublin facility will focus exclusively on structural steel fabrication, increasing Prime’s production capacity and helping shorten lead times for customers.

The expansion supports the company’s continued growth in commercial, dairy, agricultural, industrial, aviation, equestrian and other custom metal building markets.

To support that growth, Prime is making significant investments in new fabrication equipment, including:

• A new hot rolled saw and drill line

• Additional welding stations

• Expanded structural steel fabrication equipment

These upgrades will allow Prime to process structural steel more efficiently, increase throughput and better meet the needs of contractors, builders and customers throughout the United States.

“Our investment in Dublin is an investment in our customers and our employees,” Brown said.

“By expanding our fabrication capabilities, we’re creating a more efficient operation that helps us deliver the quality, service and turnaround times Prime is known for.”

Prime’s new Stephenville flagship retail store now serves customers needing metal roofing, siding, trim, structural steel and building materials, while the Dublin facility remains an essential part of the company’s manufacturing network.

Founded in Dublin in 1997, Prime Metal Buildings & Components has grown into a leading national manufacturer of pre-engineered metal building systems and metal building components with locations across Texas.

The company continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technology and expanded production capabilities while remaining committed to the community where it all began.
