On Monday, April 11, 2022, Erath County Habitat For Humanity broke ground on their new warehouse and office building located in Stephenville, TX. Prime Metal Buildings & Components proudly supports Habitat for Humanity. Prime is helping fund a new “Home for Habitat” by donating a large portion of the metal building for the Erath County location. The building will span 3,000 sq. ft. and will house construction materials, donations, and will host financial literacy classes.

Stacy Morrison, President of Board of Directors and Chair of the Building Committee for Erath County Habitat for Humanity is grateful for Prime’s donation.

“Prime’s donation was extremely generous, and their donation has inspired other organizations to donate as well,” explained Morrison. “The only way we are able to do this is with generous donations from companies like Prime Metal Buildings.”

Prior to the new building, Erath County Habitat For Humanity did not have an office or space to store donations and materials. As a result, the organization has missed out on donations in the past because there was no place to store donated material. The new building will provide 800 sq. ft. of office space and ample storage room.

Habitat for Humanity (HFH) is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the United States and in more than 70 countries around the world. HFH helps families build affordable homes, renovate existing ones, and works with local communities to address a variety of housing needs after natural disasters. Families who qualify for HFH construction help build their own homes alongside volunteers. The house is then sold to the family with a 0% interest rate and an affordable mortgage.
